Photographer, collage artist and director, Theodora Richter has spent ten years in Paris before moving her creative studio – and family – to the US.
After studying literature and sociology at the Sorbonne, and art at Ecole du Louvre and Parson School of design, Richter began as image director for Chanel owned luxury brand Holland & Holland, before developing her very own style and starting her own artistic carrier.
Her recognizable collages, portraits, still-lives and fashion series, overlaid with cut-outs and illustrations, are regularly featured in international magazines such as Marie-Claire, Madame Figaro, Grazia, Vogue, Glamour, etc. In her studio she also develops tailor made projects – advertising images and digital animations – for Chanel Cosmetics, Sephora, Roger Vivier and Coach… who enjoy her much needed dose of fun, playfulness and dream-like surrealism.
She currently lives and works in New York.
