Michelle Gatton grew up on a non-working farm in west-central Iowa. She received her first cookbook at 14 when she became vegetarian and was made to cook for herself. With a photography education, she moved to NYC, and was sidetracked by a job in 1 WTC in 2000-2001. Eventually finding a culinary education along with working in several restaurants set her up for the melding of two passions: food stylist. But growing up the true epitome of an American, Jell-O has always been in her blood.
